Work Weekend is an open invitation for men & women (age 18+) who want to volunteer to help out with various projects around camp! The Work Weekend is a great opportunity to hang out and bond with other volunteers, spend some time on our gorgeous 49-acre property, and have a hand in the life-change that takes place every year at Pine Lake Camps. Your service to our camp will affect many generations to come!
The Duties (including but not limited to):
• Repairs
• Painting
• Organizing
• Wiring
• Assembling
• Hauling
• Tree-trimming
This year we will have an emphasis on indoor/interior projects!
• Log-splitting
• Remodeling
• Siding/Roofing
• Flooring
• Landscaping
• Carpeting
• …and more!
The Deal: You'll provide the muscles and skills, we'll provide the delicious meals and housing while you're here!
*We charge a small, non-refundable $25 registration fee to hold your spot & help cover meal costs. If ya need to cancel, we will consider your fee a donation to PLC.
Accommodation Notes:
• Married couples registering together will be assigned a private cabin (as long as they are available) but may be required to walk to a detached restroom. All cabins have a full-size bed available.
• Individuals will be assigned to same-gender group cabins with consideration of the "better" beds.
• You can upgrade to motel-style lodging (linens & towels included).
